Chicago Honeybee Company welcomes you to join the Northshore Pollinators.

Our mission is simple - with the long list of global concerns, we like to narrow down our focus to increasing the biodiversity of our communities. By doing so, we are helping 1000s of species of pollinators to grow and thrive.

Many ask me, “Are the honeybees going extinct?”. No. They are not. In fact, with the growing number of beekeepers across America, honeybees are actually doing quite well. Do you know who is not doing well? Many of our native pollinators, like the Monarch Butterfly, are filling up the endangered species list. Why? We are chopping down trees at alarming rates. We are spraying chemicals. We are creating all these stressors that make life difficult for pollinators. A single hive of honeybees has a labor force unlike any other pollinator. We are talking up to 60,000 bees in a box!

You may not notice it now, but I believe our bees will help create a pollinator jungle in the open/protected areas and forest preserves of our communities.
